Help and troubleshooting
Find your problem below and follow the steps. Most fixes take under a minute.
Nothing matches that. Try another word, or tell us what's wrong.
Account and signing in
I can't sign in ("Invalid login credentials")
- Check the email for typos. Tap Show in the password box to see what you typed.
- Passwords are case-sensitive. Check that Caps Lock is off.
- Still stuck? Tap Forgot your password? and set a new one (steps below).
- If you never finished creating an account, tap Create a free account instead.
Sign in without a password (email code)
- Open the sign-in page.
- In the box No password? Get a sign-in code by email, type the email you signed up with and tap Email me a sign-in code.
- Open the email from [email protected] and type the code, or tap the sign-in link in that email.
Make sure you use the same email you signed up with. For privacy, the site doesn't say whether an email has an account.
I forgot my password
- Open the sign-in page.
- Type your email in the Email box.
- Tap Forgot your password? under the button.
- Open the email from [email protected] and tap the reset link.
- Type a new password (at least 8 characters) and tap Save password.
The reset email never arrived
- Wait two or three minutes. Email can be slow.
- Check your Spam, Junk and Promotions folders for a message from [email protected].
- Make sure you typed the same email you signed up with. For privacy, the site says a link is on its way even if no account uses that email.
- Try once more. If you ask many times in a row you may be told to wait, so give it a few minutes between tries.
- Still nothing? Send us a message with the email you used.
The reset link says it's invalid or expired
- Reset links work once and only for a limited time.
- Go back to the sign-in page and request a new link.
- Use the newest email only. Older links stop working.
"User already registered" when creating an account
- That email already has an account. Tap Sign in at the top of the form instead.
- Forgot the password? Use Forgot your password? (steps above).
I can't tap "Create account"
- Tick the box that says you're 18 or older and agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy. Green Gator Affiliator accounts are for adults only.
- Your password needs at least 8 characters.
Turn on two-step verification
- Install a free authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or the Passwords app on iPhone).
- Open your Account page → Sign-in & security → Two-step verification → Turn on.
- Scan the QR code, or tap Copy setup key and paste it into the app.
- Type the 6-digit code the app shows and tap Confirm.
From then on, after your password, email code or passkey, you'll type the current code from the app. Codes change every 30 seconds.
Can I sign in with a passkey (fingerprint, face or PIN)?
Add a passkey from your Account page (Sign-in & security → Add a passkey on this device). On a supported device, the sign-in page then shows a Sign in with a passkey button. Your email and password always keep working as a backup. If the passkey prompt is cancelled or fails, just sign in with your password.
How do I sign out?
Tap the round button with your initial in the top corner to open your Account page, then tap Sign out. Lost a phone? Use Sign out everywhere.
How do I delete my account?
- Tap the round button with your initial in the top corner to open your Account page.
- Scroll to Your data and tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE in capital letters, then tap Delete my account forever.
This permanently removes your account, saved programs, links, codes, notes and QR codes. It can't be undone. Tap Download my data first if you want a copy.
Finding and saving programs
How do I save a program?
- Open Find Programs and tap a program.
- Tap Save to My Programs. If you aren't signed in, you'll be asked to sign in or create a free account first.
- It now appears in My Programs under Saved.
I can't find a program
- Clear the search box and set the filters back to All categories and Anywhere. Untick Beginner-friendly only.
- We only list programs whose official page shows they're open and states the commission. Programs that closed or don't publish terms are hidden.
- Already a member of a program we don't list? In My Programs, tap + Add a program and type its name.
- Want it in the directory? Ask us to add it.
A program's details look wrong or out of date
- Open the program's page.
- Tap Report incorrect information at the bottom (you'll need to be signed in).
- Say what's wrong. A link to the company's page helps. We recheck reported listings.
Every listing shows the date it was last checked against the company's official page. Listings checked in the last 30 days show a green "Verified" badge. Companies can change terms at any time, so always confirm on their page before you apply.
Questions about approval, commissions or payments from a company
New to this? Affiliate marketing basics explains commissions, cookie windows, payout minimums and holding periods.
Each company runs its own program. They decide who is approved, set the commission and pay it. Green Gator Affiliator does not pay, hold or guarantee any earnings, and can't see your account with them. Please contact the company or its affiliate network directly. The program page shows how to apply and links to the official terms.
My Programs organizer
What is the Passport, and who can see it?
Your Passport holds the details almost every affiliate application asks for: your platforms, channel link, audience size, topic, country, website, and two ready-to-paste answers ("About you" and "How you'll promote"). Fill it in once at Your Passport, then tap Copy whenever you apply.
Only you can see it. We never share it with companies. Start it for me uses only what you typed in the Passport. Edit it so it sounds like you, and never claim followers or results you don't have.
How do I move a program to Applied, Approved or Active?
- In My Programs, tap Edit on the program.
- Choose a new Stage. Changing to Applied, Approved or Declined fills in today's date for you if the date box is empty.
- Tap Save.
What do "Invite only," "Not accepting new affiliates" and "Terms not public" mean?
They come from the company's official page. Invite only means the company picks its affiliates. Not accepting new affiliates means applications are closed right now. Terms not public means the company only shows its commission terms after you apply. A program with no label is open to applications. The full list of labels and how we check them is on How we verify programs.
What does "Terms changed since you saved this" mean?
When we recheck a program on the company's official page and its commission, payout rules or status has changed, every member who saved that program sees this notice on it in My Programs. It lists what changed and when. Tap Got it to hide it until the next change. Every change is also posted on our public change log.
What does "Waiting 14+ days · follow up?" mean?
The program is marked Applied, has an applied date, and has no decision date after 14 days. A short, polite email to the company's affiliate team often gets an answer. After you send the email, tap ✓ I followed up on that program. The reminder goes away and only comes back if you still haven't heard anything 14 days later. When you hear back, tap Edit, change the stage and add the decision date.
The "Copy" on my link or code didn't work
- Tap the underlined link or code itself. The button turns green and says "✓ Copied."
- Some browsers block copying on pages that aren't fully loaded. Wait a second and try again.
- Still not working? Tap Edit, then press and hold in the link or code box to copy it by hand.
My spreadsheet (CSV) won't import
- Tap Download a blank template and copy your rows into it. The first row must keep the column names. Program is the only required column.
- Save it as CSV (Excel: File → Save As → CSV. Google Sheets: File → Download → .csv. Numbers: File → Export To → CSV).
- Keep the file under 1 MB. Up to 500 programs are imported at a time.
- Write dates as YYYY-MM-DD, for example 2026-10-22. Dates in other formats are left blank.
- Stages must be one of Saved, Applied, Approved, Declined, Active or Paused. Anything else becomes Saved.
- The sample row named "Example Program" is skipped on purpose.
Never put passwords in the file.
The date boxes look odd on my iPhone or iPad
Tap the date box to open the date picker. If it still looks wrong, refresh the page (see "The site looks old or a button does nothing" below). Then tell us your device so we can fix it.
QR codes
How do I make a QR code for my affiliate link?
- Open QR Codes.
- Pick one of your programs (if you're signed in and saved a link), or paste a full link that starts with https://
- Tap Make QR code, then Download PNG. Signed in? Tap Save to my account to keep it.
The QR code contains your own link exactly as you typed it. We never change it or add our own tracking.
"Please enter a full link that starts with https://"
Copy the whole link from the company's affiliate dashboard, including the https:// at the start. Links without it can't be turned into a QR code.
My QR code doesn't scan
- Scan the downloaded image at a larger size. Very small or blurry prints are hard for cameras to read.
- Keep a plain white border around the code when you place it in a design.
- Open the link yourself first to make sure it still works in the company's dashboard.
- Very long links make denser codes. If the company offers a shorter version of your link, use that.
The site and app
I left a page before saving. Did I lose what I typed?
No. Your Passport, Account profile, program editor, feedback and suggestion forms keep what you typed or picked on this device, even if you leave the page. When you come back you'll see "We kept the changes you hadn't saved yet."
Those changes aren't saved to your account until you tap Save. They're cleared when you save, tap Cancel, tap Discard them, or sign out. They stay only in this browser and are never sent to us. On a shared computer, sign out when you're done.
How do I switch to light, dark or another color style?
- Tap your initial in the top corner to open Your account.
- Under Appearance, pick Match my device, Light, Dark, Rose, Stars & Stripes or Tactical.
It changes right away and is saved on that phone or computer.
The site looks old or a button does nothing
- Refresh the page. On a phone, pull down from the top. On a computer, press Ctrl+R (Windows) or Cmd+R (Mac).
- If you added the site to your home screen, close the app fully and open it again.
- Make sure your browser is up to date.
- Still broken? Tell us which page, what you tapped, and your device and browser.
How do I add Green Gator Affiliator to my home screen?
- iPhone or iPad (Safari): tap the Share button (square with an arrow), then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Android (Chrome): tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Computer (Chrome or Edge): click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.
Menu names can differ slightly between browser versions.
Is my information private?
Your saved programs, links, codes, notes and QR codes are visible only to you when signed in. See the Privacy Policy for details. Never store passwords in notes or login hints.
