Affiliate Network Rules, Explained in Plain English
Many companies pay you through a network instead of paying you directly. Each network has its own rules about minimums, timing and fees. Here are the main ones, taken from each network's own help pages. Checked October 24, 2026. The programs below pay through PartnerStack, impact.com or Amazon.
PartnerStack
- You need at least $5 in commissions to withdraw.
- Approved commissions are usually paid around the 13th of the month. Some companies pay between the 8th and 13th.
- Paid by PayPal, Stripe or direct deposit.
- Commissions left unclaimed for 2 years start getting a monthly late fee of 8.33%.

impact.com
- You can withdraw once your balance reaches $10 (or the same amount in your currency).
- You choose to be paid when you hit a set amount or on a fixed day each month, to a bank account or PayPal.
- Your money can be late if the company hasn't funded its impact.com account.
- If impact.com can't pay you for 6 months (for example, missing tax or payment details), a monthly account fee starts in month 7.

Amazon Associates
- Your application can be withdrawn if you don't make enough qualifying sales within 180 days.
- Minimum payment is $10 by direct deposit or gift card, or $100 by check. Smaller amounts roll into the next month.
- Commissions are paid about 60 days after the end of the month you earned them.
- Amazon needs your tax information before it pays anything.

Awin
- Signing up takes a $1 deposit. You get it back with your first payment. If you're rejected, you have to ask Awin to refund it.
- The lowest payout you can set is $20. If you never set one, it's $50.
- Payments run twice a month. Your balance must reach your minimum by the 15th or the last day of the month.

ClickBank
- No payment until your account shows at least 5 sales.
- About 10% of your earnings is held back and released after 12 weeks, to cover refunds.
- Each payment has a $5 processing charge. Wire transfers cost $45 more.
- The default payout minimum is $100. You can change it in your account settings, but ClickBank's own help pages disagree on the lowest amount allowed ($10 or $50).

Networks change these rules, sometimes without notice. Check the network's own help page before you rely on a number here.
